What areas do you serve?+
DPS is based in West Hempstead and covers all of Nassau County and most of Long Island — Hempstead, Garden City, Franklin Square, Elmont, Valley Stream, Rockville Centre, Baldwin, Levittown, Massapequa and everywhere in between.
Are you licensed and insured?+
Yes. DPS is fully licensed and insured in New York. Certificates of insurance are available on request for every job.
Do you offer free estimates?+
Every estimate is free, written and itemised. No obligation, no pressure. We walk the site, ask questions, and send back a real number.
Do you provide 3-D designs?+
Yes — every remodel and hardscape project includes a free virtual 3-D design so you can see the finished space before we start.
How long is a typical project?+
It depends on scope. A bath remodel runs two to four weeks, a kitchen four to eight, a full landscape overhaul one to three. Every quote includes a written schedule.
Do you pull permits?+
Yes. DPS handles all Nassau County and Town of Hempstead permits — from demo through certificate of occupancy.
How do you handle payment?+
Typical schedule is deposit, milestone draws, and final payment on walkthrough. We accept check, ACH and card.
What if I need emergency work?+
Storm damage, roof leaks, burst pipes — call 516.305.1337. We prioritise emergency exterior and structural work same day or next day.
Do you offer warranties?+
Yes. Workmanship is warranted one year minimum; roofing and hardscape carry longer manufacturer warranties. Every warranty is in writing on your contract.
Can you match a competitor's quote?+
We don't compete on the lowest price — we compete on the best value. If a competitor is 30% cheaper, something is missing from their scope. We'll show you what.
